bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- memo to hollywood so...it snowed here on saturday. and it snowed like a motherfucker, and then it stopped snowing, but kinda rained? and that bitch temperature kept hovering around 33 degrees, so it all went melty and away. boo. i wants me my snow. also, miss ann j. has a diiiiiary, you should read it. hopefully she'll write lots. annjaeger.diaryland.com also- i'm hungry. and also also, did not do so well on this today gets healthy thing. i've been better about not eating crap this week....except for the potato soup at olssens which was next door to the theatre and warm and yummy. really, potatoes in any form = good. also, hey hollywood, i have a memo for you- look! Memo to Hollywood Los Angeles, California Attn: Anyone who maketh-a-movie (yeah the maketh is intentional) Re: "teen" films Now, i haven't seen this walk to remember thing, but i have seen the trailers for it, and lord-al-mighty, does it look bad. i'm not talking "she's all that" bad, which was soooooooo bad it was good, especially the end where everyone in this 3-story building at this prom evidently knows (every.single.one.of.them) this complicatedly choreographed dance to fat boy slim's "rockafeller skank" (it really is amazing *everyone* who apparently attended this fictious school *knows* this dance and can do it in sync. geeks. jocks. the arty kids. everyone. rent it for that alone) I would really like it (and i believe i stand for movie-watching people everywhere) if you would just leave out lines such as s/he makes me want to be different/a better person/whatever. it's bunk. really. it's hack. it's trite even for the tritest of mediums... also- if you just want ot call a moratorium on mandy moore films on the whole, well...that would be ok with me too. xoxo beth b. 11:05 a.m. - 2002-01-22 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
