bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- im tired from just reading this... My little brother Todd and I went to Art O matic last night so he could see my stuff. He actually didn't make fun if it either. maybe he's growing up. i have to really plan out my weekend. it's going to be totally skrewey and fast. 3:30 am- leave DC for NYC on the china town shuttle. arrive NYC in china town at 7:30 am. probably too early for any hello kitty goods, so colleen and i can grab breakfast i've thought about trying to wave at people i don't know on the today show, but 1) i'm afraid i'll be subjected to hearing that guy yodel through 'Bette davis eyes' again. can we talk about that for a second? yeah we can. i'm all for "today's superstar" thing. really....i am. i wanted the woman who just got cut to win. i mean, she had a great voice, but she's older than other dumb contests ask their contestants to be, so Yeah! you go lady with the mop and the baby singing carole king songs! you rule! You...however, mr "i give voice lessons in atlanta". you drool. i hope someone taped that for you and you take your own advice. the 2nd thing is, i hate janice huff. maybe not 'hate' per se. but miss huff, you are too damn perky. and not in the fun way. more in the 'you read the morning announcement at your high school didn't you" kinda way. 3rd. is phil collins is givng another one of his free concerts, and contrary to what i would have thought true, people are still nutty for the phil collins. and the last thing i need to hear at 8am. is brenda from iowa city yelling "PLAY EASY LOVER!". if you are brenda from iowa city (i'm sure there's gotta be one) don't write me an irate letter. i don't care. then saturday night, i'm seeing Woyzeck at the brooklyn acadamy of music (the tom waits/robert wilson collaberation) i guess i'm looking forward to that, i'm just...feh. then miss c. and i are staying at lea and chris' (amongst holy gobs of stories there....yikes) and then meeting my parents in trenton NJ at 7:30 am sunday and driving back to DC with them. then at 5:30, i have to do my last 5 hours of volunteer time at aom. whew 12:39 p.m. - 2002-11-15 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
