bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WARNING! this entry contains poo! you know what's fun? running around NYC. you know what's not fun? running around NYC in the cold and the rain and the wind. god bless for colleen for hanging in there, because i was about to loose it more than once. especially after being soaked and cold and late for the show, and a cuff on my jeans had come un done, so it was dragging on the ground in the subway of the city so you know it had to have about 47 different DNA samples on that thing because, apparently, IT'S OK to drop trou and hose down where ever you see fit. i'm not saying it doesn't happen in DC. like once i was walking down the street and this guy was leaning against a building on a street (not really an alley, but not a big street) with his legs bent and i see him start to shimmy his pants down his legs and there's really nowhere for me to go so i keep walking with my headphones on and my brain is going "this isn't going to be good...eyes straight ahead. don't look DON'T LOOK DON'T LOOK" i didn't look, but as i walked by, there were definitely noises....of, uh.... let's just say.."intestinal distress". also, it's not uncommon to go to the goodwill in arlington virgina and have to walk past a bunch of drunk day laborours looking for work, peeing on stuff. like their shoes. and the wall. but our subways sure are clean! i'm going to take my kewpie doll photos in today for developing. kewpie went all over new york. and next time, we're going to coney island. and hopefully staying somewhere that doesn't involve path trains. 9:22 a.m. - 2002-11-20 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
