my life is shitty

ready for me to be a negative nelly?
I applied for a job with the capitol hill arts workshop. i didn't get it.
in retrospect, it's probably good. it would be a pay cut from even this place. although it would have been office experience in a venue i'd like to persue further.
i didn't get accepted into crafty bastards. which might be because they honestly didn't like my knitting and stuff or it might be that i was pretty vocal about how shitty i think the washington city paper is. (the WCP runs/sponsors crafty bastards)
i did apply for a job with the arden in philly. which might be fun.
but i just repainted my room!!! i love my new room. now if i wasn't balls deep (err...euphamistically speaking) in clothes and junk in my room.
tonight there's a party in the mather building for tim tate. it would probably be cool and fun, but it's 100 f-ing degrees outside.
ryan and i watched 'over the top' last night. we like to watch stallone movies and make fun of them.
and i can't be sure, but i'm pretty sure over the top was sponsored by NAMBLA. seriously. check it out.
there's like, 3 women in the whole movie. only one with actual "dialogue" (oh, and did i mention sly "co-wrote" the movie?)
i did, however, get the nicest, sweetest email ever from my brother scott. i recommend everyone having a little brother like my brother scott.
