look for my new bands- disaster babies and vegan potluck

my itunes is in a very twee mode.
right now it's got a thing for palace / brothers / music.
and the pixies.
which isn't bad. but it's not what i want to hear.

i've been playing that bizzaro voicemail from my granma for everyone i've seen in the past week. i'm almost at the point where i'm grabbing strangers on the street and saying "listen to THIS!!!".
so many things wrong. like the whole baby adoption thing. um.....oh good god no.
it did lead to a really hysterical conversation with a volunteer for fort reno whom we'll call 'father casey' because that's what we call him. amanda dubbbed him as such and it's funny because he's not a priest. although his name is casey. although for whatever reason i kept calling him 'evan'. i don't get it.
anyway, we thought up the 'disaster babies' (which would be a great name for a band) and you could have tsunami babies. iceberg babies. volcano babies.
today was the absolute last time we screened shirts for fort reno. and we were talking about collectives and shows and i said whenever i see the words 'vegan potluck' appear on a show flier i steer clear. good for them, but no thanks.
but i want to start a band called vegan potluck and ryan started thinking up song titles.
"my dreads are itchy", "my group house", "can my distro tour with you". mine was something like "people whose floors i've slept on"
lady windermere's fan closes tonight. good bye. god bless.
not looking forward to strike, but at least we're putting that horse down.
