@1 buri@n stole (ryan's) coat

my dad just called and i just had the shortest conversation ever with him.
this is so ridiculously hard.
ok, put the crap behind me. on to good stuff:
yesterday when i was putting laundry in the machine, ryan asked if i remembered the bass riff i wrote. like 4 years ago.
i did. so i played it and he played guitar and drums and we wrote a song. it's called "a1 buri@n stole my coat" i'm doing that so no one will find this via la google.
a few weeks ago a.b. was in town on some zine tour or something with another person and that person wrote to ryan on the back of her flyer and ryan told me a story of being at a party with a.b. and how a.b. stole his pea coat and i said "that totally needs to be a song".
so after he recorded a drum and guitar track and i awkwardly played bass, we recorded some vocals where we basically sing "stole my coat. a1 buri@n. stole my coat".
it's pretty fucking funny.
then we went upstairs and ate dinner and magically PBS was playing the ramones doc. 'end of the century'. which is great, but really upsetting when you start ticking off all the people who have died since it was in the can.
anyway, m1le m@rker, one of a1's bands is playing DC soon. i told ryan he should try to open for them.
he never has gotten his coat back.
