remember ye olde friday 5? 5 not-really-hard questions that you'd answer and link to the fridayfive.org site. and then they took a nap begining about a year and a half ago?
someone on livejournal has re-started it sorta, so i'm gonna bring it back here

1. How long have you had your LiveJournal/blog?
i've had this diaryland thing since feb. 5, 2000.
good lord. that's way too long....

2. What do you consider to be the main purpose of your LiveJournal/blog?
it was to keep me writing everyday. that and i tend to misplace (on occassion lose) the notebooks i do any actual hard writing in. so it was all kept neatly on this here innerweb. then i told some friends about it so now it's kind of a way for them to keep up with me and what i'm doing. thus letting me get away with not writing actual letters. which sucks. i need to write more letters.

3. If you could change something about your personal blogging style, what would it be?
i would use proper capitalization and punctuation. and proof-read so when i accidently use words like "make" instead of "made" or "gringer" instead of "grinder" maybe i'd find them and change them. also, i should learn the stupid easy HTML junx so i can actually make the links. although i think i figured out how to do this %%ninjac%% colleen. maybe not.

4. What are your criteria for adding someone to your friends list/blog roll?
no dorky poetry. no horrible music mentions. bonus points for semi-obscure band refs. (karl hendricks trio for example)

5. Name one thing that you've never before written about in your LJ/blog.
the inane amount of blogging i do. seriously. no one should know this much about me. i have this diaryland thing. i have a livejournal (which is mostly to post/read in DC communities and to see what they're saying about me and my stuff. i even have something on blogspot! and sometimes the subjects overlap, but not very often....how do i have that much to say? maybe it's boredom. maybe it's vanity....one thing is for certain. i am not interesting enough to warrant all that free web space
