none for me, thanks

tonight is opening night for comedy of errors. usually after opening i take the day off, but i might move that to wednesday. i don't really want to go up to PA and visit the family, but if i don't do it now, i'd feel obligated to find a weekend between now and christmas to fit in a visit and that makes my stomach hurt even more. so maybe i'll take a half day wednesday and drive up and try to enjoy the ride. and head back into town friday.
i just got an email from the director of a show i'm doing early next year about setting up a meeting for sunday so that's good. i'll re-read the script (lillian hellman is v. v. talky) and maybe do some drawings.
last year the only thing that really got me through the holidays was the thought of me spending a week in paris in the spring. it was so nice to have something to look forward to.
now i'm waiting to find out if i get one of these UMD turtles or not. supposedly i'll find out by the 23rd. but these things are never on time.
i'm so not prepared for the oncoming holidays.
i would be really relieved if my dad made good on his promise that it would be "just us" for actual christmas and we all met at a neutral location like williamsburg.
i would be even more relieved if we just told people we were going to williamsburg but just stayed in PA and unplugged the phone.
