bah

man is it nice to splash in puddles with impunity and not get a foot-full of water.
i've had my other boots since my grad school days in athens ohio where i wore them when someone was upholstering and ended up with some staples in the sole of my boots thus rendering them useless pretty much.
the snow everyone was fretting wasn't bad (again). this area is ridiculous when snow even gets uttered anywhere. i blame it solely on the media because they interrupt live broadcasting to tell you it's snowing.
in other news:
I was a bad and unsupportive roommate yesterday and didn't go to see the R's play. i was grumpy from stupid stuff at work and didn't feel like seeing or dealing with people so instead i put up my christmas tree. now that sadie has most of the kitten out of her, i sorta feel ok to put the vintage ornaments on it.
i say that, but when i go home, there's going to be a pile of broken glass and fake tree waiting for me.
