hunching over painting a faux woodgrain on a floor not fun. doing yoga to combat it and it seems to actually be kinda working.
go yoga.

also, this is from the friday 5

1) What was the first album/CD/Cassette you ever bought? van halen's 1984/ sebadoh- smash your head on the punk rock / soundtrack to ghostbusters

2) What was your first fave song?
that "ooo-wah, ooooh-wah oooooh-wah kitty, tell us about the boy from new york city". because i thought they were talking about hello kitty. sadly, i am not kidding. thankfully, i was very young.

3) Which song gives you that "funny nostalgic feeling" everytime you hear it?
the gambler by kenny rogers. my mom gave my dad that record for christmas and it had a skip in it so he took it back to caldor and i remember looking through the disco duck records and listening to my father play every copy they had until he found one sans skip

4) Name the first concert you ever went to.
err....tesla/poison. hey, it was 1989 ok?

5) What do you consider the worst song of all time?
if you like pinacolodas.....or maybe old time rock and roll. i will punch my radio off to avoid either.

Now:
1) Name your fave song at the moment.
twin cinema- new pornographers

2) What is the most recent album/CD/Cassette you purchased? (on vinyl) DangerDoom, detroit cobras. on cd- the new broken social scene

3) Which song will you never get sick of hearing?
cracklin' rosie.

4) What is your current fave music video?
i think the video for gold digger is really brilliant. but for christmas ryan gave me a DVD of mark romanak's videos, so it might have to be jay-z's '99 problems'

5) If you could be a famous music artist, what type of music would you produce?
i would never let steve albini put his guitar down.
