gocco play date

i have a print gocco play date with sean and rania tonight. i'm very excited because i'm very nervous to use the machine.
it feels even more precious to me now that i know that the company isn't making them anymore. or not distributing the stuff in the states any more...i can't rememeber.
i can't believe i've had this thing for almost 2 months and haven't used it yet. i am intimidated by it because i don't quite understand how the image is made. it seems like silk screening but not quite and i don't understand what the carbon does, but that's ok...
i've made a robot drawing to burn. i'll cut paper on my lunchbreak to print on.
rania is the queen of gocco so i know i'll pick up some good tips.
with the exception of tueday i've had no time to myself this week. i should have used a quiet and snowed in house for laundry-and-listen-to-guided-by-voices-records-loudly day but i didn't. i don't even really remember what i did.
