dress up dress down

tonight there's a party with a theme which makes me a little leary....'red and black'? come on...and how "evening dress" is it going to be?
if i wear my black, new, completely paint-free dickieis pants and a red sweater, is that going to be enough?
what if i wear those pants and a black button down shirt and my black and red scarf and look like the member of lady tron that never gets photographed.
i'm not saying there's a girl in lady tron who never gets photographed, i'm just saying, if i were in lady tron, the camera would never be on me.
or would i look like a lost member of interpol?
i'm trying to check in with the trusty skang but i can't find her phone number.
if i don't hear from her by 7 i'll say f it and not go.
i have the first season of punky brewster to watch anyway....
