old white dudes love me

so yesterday, i think every man over 48 with a drill showed up to help instal the set.
and i'm not kidding.
i have to give it up to crazy rose- she found me help. i just directed them what to do. i barely even picked up a drill. the set went up so quickly...the cornice was unproblematic. it was actually fun.
i took a picture of everything we got done yesterday and sent it to the stage manager and the director expalining what was done, what was done and needs tweaking, and what just hasn't happened yet.
i still have a good bit to do, but i feel pretty good about stuff right now. and it's been a while since i've been able to say that.
