it should be noted i am not wearing a dinosaur jr. tshirt at this moment
you know how last year at this time i was just back from france (let me say that a few more times...) and then the stress of taxes began because for some reason i really really thought i was going to bite it somewhere on the trip so i figured "meh...why waste time doing paper work when i could be re-learning to count in french" so i came back safe and in one piece just much much lighter in ye olde pockets but i figured "hey, let's give turbo tax a whirl" and spent the next week and a half in a clammy panic because i couldn't figure out how to do anything and then there were charges to download the state tax and charges to pay on line and i didn't have a printer so i called people in a blind-clammy-panic (it got worse each day) to see if i could print it out there and sucked it up and ended up e-filing....i never did get my state refund....but whatever...
this year? i'm sorry turbo tax. i love you. i love that i pretty much did my taxes during the commercial breaks of the gilmore girls
by the way- what's up with all the dinosaur jr. shirts popping up in the media lately?
there was some movie- a girly movie that ryan ended up seeing and the only thing i remember from the commercial is there's a sister-ly character and she's wearing a dinosaur jr. t-shirt....oh wait...the movie had luke wilson in it...and maybe sarah jessica parker...but it definitely had dinosaur jr. i asked ryan if any more rock t's appeared and he couldn't remember.
i know MC-5 sold (out) their logo to Levi's which is why it appeared on the chest of jennifer anniston in friend's final days.
i'm sure i'm not the only one who choked on their coffee at that coupling.
anyway- oh! jess! what's up with the hair? that guy is arguably one of the hottest. men. ever. but the hair....with the jacket over the shirt....it was just kinda...mr. mister rogers. i dunno...
moral of this entry:
turbo tax: not evil. nice
dinosaur jr: j's gotta make money somehow i guess ( i say that but in this month alone he's playing DC once with his band "wizard' or something and once as dinosaur jr. which i think is the original line up even meaning lou barlow and j are sucking it up and playing nice because....well...money i'm sure. it's 10:34 pm and that means it's time to go to an 11 pm meeting.
fuck.
i hate my life.
