always and all ways

this morning at work, i was handed a wrapped bottle and a card. it was from a coworker named barry. a few months ago, i made a joke when he was meeting with a distributor of a 'shakespeare vodka' or something. i was walking past and paused to tap the bottle with my finger and said 'my birthday's in may'and winked at him; and to his credit, he did not forget.
so yay! tony vodka! it's actually really pretty. and i'm not even really much of a vodka drinker.

i had dinner with my youngest brother todd this evening. we went to my favorite restaurant which i'm afraid might be going downhill...i can't explain it, but it feels weird. if it closes i'll be so sad.
today we met with the set designer for love's labour's. he's very nice. it was just really unfortunate that my brain was stuck on the buzzcocks' 'orgasm addict' because that's not really something you can bleat out in front of people who don't know you well.
i mean, 'johnny want fucky always and all ways'?
or maybe it's all ways and always...or always and always.
although i prefer to think it 'always and all ways'.
either way, it's not something you can really let slip out of your mouth infront of someone while you're discussing vintage coppertone labels and reel to reel recorders.
kc gave me a copy of eugene mirman's "en garde society" cd.
he is strangely compelling.

nah, fuck it. both of them.
