i hate explosions

kc came over and we watched the Stella shorts dvd. it's ridiculously funny. i got a little happy drunk on the sam adams summer ale.
that stuff is so good.
he left before the dramatic thunderstorm but i wish he stayed. right now the neighborhood is collectively lighting their contraband firecrackers and as i type this a helicopter is flying over head.
i'm going to go back to knitting my frist sweater.

i can't wait for this holiday to be over.
