diseased hat

i just got home, which considering this is tech week, is nice.
and the fact that i made a bunch of chicken for dinner last night so i don't have to cook tonight is nicer.
the fact that two chairs broke in rehearsal today is not nice. to be fair to the chairs, one stupid actress pushed one off the stage.
and i know, i know accidents happen, but seriously? you can't make a choice between pushing a chair off the stage and NOT pushing the chair off the fucking stage? really?
so i might have to run back out to ellicott city and photograph another set of chairs to possibly purchase to back up the ailing set we're currently using. i'm hoping to resolve all this tomorrow so i don't have to work this weekend because saturday is colleen's birthday party and sunday is aloha at the black cat...and then monday is dinosaur jr, tuesday is dan's going away barbeque, wednesday is colleen's actual birthday, thursday is motherfuckingSHELLAC which i keep having nightmares about which is weird, and friday...well...i don't think friday is anything....then saturday is beauty pill and soccer team's first/last/only show ever at the black cat.
so it's a busy week and if i can be finished by tomorrow, by god, i will be.
also: beck- since guestbooks aren't working: NO F-ING WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so happy to hear that! HOOOORAY!!!!
i'm going to heat up some dinner and enjoy being home on a thursday night which hasn't happened in forever. or three months, take your pick.
also, i miss something more than i thought i would. and it's making me sad. that's all.
also also, today i tried to describe george costanza to my german friend toby, particularly the whole wallet thing ...and he didn't get it. although in a completely unrelated conversation with toby, i used the phrase "diseased hat" which made us laugh. i like people who laugh easily at my stupid jokes
