disaster avoided

Meatloaf (Mr. loaf?) was on the today show this morning in all of his gross glory, singing his um....i guess "songs" although that's a generous word for them, with a girl who could be his granddaughter.
i'm saying the dude is old, ok?
too old to be doing the "i gotta know right now..." schtick with the girl who, i'm going to guess was 11.
not really, but you know...young.
and then there's that song he has where he's all "but i won't do that" and he was totally in her face and i threw up a little for her.
Sir, please, sit down and wait for us to call your number. we're not asking you to do anything....meat....mr. loaf...mr. meat....gross man.
i need to develop better sleeping habits (maybe better life habits in general) because i'm tired.
although sushi last night with ms. beck and co. was really a lot of fun. i don't think you would have thought that we weren't all old friends.
also, i'm happy to report that on my way out the door with a latte mug full of coffee getting in my car, all i could think was "this is a disaster waiting to happen" and yet i didn't spill on myself. at all. something of a miracle considering the amounts of asshats on the road this morning.
