Without going into too much detail, I want to go on record right now in saying that I never will partake in the corn chowder from Austin Grill again. ever. seriously.

I hope people are voting today. everywhere. Everyone thinks it doesn't mean anything when you're from DC, and even less when it's not a presidental election, but when nitwits like Bill O'Reiley are out there saying that he's anticipating low voter turnout, I can only hope that's a projection of his party.
Also, how fucked up is it that someone is calling registered democrats in Virginia and telling them their polling places changed, or someone else is carpeting areas with fliers that read "Don't vote. it doesn't matter anyway".
That's ridiculous. and a felony to pull stunts like that.
i seriously would love to see at least 65% turnout and have the democrats sweep the house.

tonight's the first night of previews. michael hasn't been in to see all the little (read: expensive) changes to the dressing that he wanted made "more interesting" but didn't specify what interesting was exactly.
tonight broken social scene are at the 9:30 club, but as much as i adore their records, i refuse to believe they are any good live. they just strike me as one of those bands who puts on shows because they think it's something they have to do rather than want to do.
so tonight i'm spending the rainy evening with the gilmore girls unless it's a repeat. if it is, than i'm watching rambo: first blood. i'm not kidding.
i wish ryan was home to watch it with me. it's a good time watching sylvester stallone movies and talking over them.
thursday jason h's band is at the black cat and i'll probably go to that. they're good and there aren't really any shows i'm hot to go to except for the hold steady later in november. kind of a slow schedule given how show-laden september and october were.
