i had a tasty salad of spinach, pear, mint and lemon juice. so when i start bleeding and whatever from orfices that should never, ever ever ever ever be bleeding, we can blame the e-coli and not the corn chowder.
not that the corn chowder did that to me. i'm just saying. that shit messed me up.
but there was no blood.
i should put a warning on this.... ok i did...

ok, two things.....first? i was in about 7th grade i guess when that crappy "can't buy me love" movie came out (and about 30 when the writers realized hey hadn't sold a script in 17 years so they totally rehashed the thing for a more "urban crowd" as "love don't cost a thing") but i remember what a stinking pile of turd that patrick dumpsey was/is and this whole dr. mcdreamy thing?
i'm not buying.
mostly because you'd have to pay me to watch the show he's on because it looks like a big fart fest (man, what's up with all the gastric word choices? this is completely unintenional)
so go ahead and keep shoving his over ripe melon head on those tabloid mags. it makes me not even thumb through them in line at the grocery store while i'm waiting for the nice old cashier man that i'm pretty sure is fred armisen in costume.
two- there is this book that i guess is really more of a catalog of a richard prince exhibit that i'd been waiting for about 2 years for amazon to cough up. it's on my wish since at least dec. 2005 going by my old wishlist (jan. 2006 when i look at the one i had to re-make because i switched emails...the old one is kind of charming because i'm forever 27 and pining for a dollhouse, but that's neither here nor there) anyway- richard prince....
so there's this catalog of his nurse paintings and amazon kept teasing me with its release date and saying it was on its way, oh no it's not...they can't get it...they'll try for 90 more days but if they can't they'll give up, unless i still want it and i can try to reorder it and blah blah blah.
so i noticed on amazon, there are two copies for sale used, but a lot of money. one is a lot, one is a ridiculous amount. so i got fed up and googled it and found it somewhere else for an extremely reasonable 45 so that's my techweek present to myself. which also now brings the amount of solely richard prince books in my possession to two.
i hope i didn't just jinx myself and screw myself out of a book i've been looking for for two years.
