skip over the last entry. seriously.
here's something else when i should be working:

1) What was the first CD/Record/Album/Artist you ever bought and what format was it in? (Vinyl/Cassette/CD/MP3 Download)?

vinyl- van halen's 1984
cassette- i think it was bon jovi
cd- sebadoh- smash your head on the punk rock.
mp3- no idea. it was probably monster mash.

2) How do you usually listen to music? (iPod/Walkman/Stereo/Radio)
ipod/recordplayer

3) What is your favorite genre of music and why?
today it's early 90's chicago indie rock. because crisp sunny fall days were meant for the sea and cake and tortoise.

4) What is your opinion on music video shows and music televion?
i thought OK GO's treadmill video is ingenious and charming but other than that, the few vids i've seen (being cableless) have been devoid of charm and cleverness...except for that one video kc pointed out...guster maybe? the one with the stuffed animals? that was pretty good too.
but i'll still watch the okgo video on youtube over and over.

5) Do you usually agree with who the winners of the Grammy Awards are?
i have never, ever paid attention to the grammy awards. they just don't reflect me nor do i really think they have a grasp on music in general. that whole racket smacks of payola.
