kc does good.

last night kc gave me the 2006 best american comics anthology chosen by harvey pekar and edited by anne elizabeth moore.

it's pretty pretty great. now i feel like a complete asshole.

the evens were good. soccer team was good. melissa was on-key for most of the show. i saw darius and his daughter michelle. you can tell they're sad about carol and leaving her at home, but if there's anyone who can bounce back from something even as intrusive as throat cancer, it's carol kanga.
darius saw me clutching the book kc gave me and asked about it and said he has a friend who was asked to do a comic in the ramones anthology that came out last year and he said his full name which i didn't recognize, but then he said "he goes by 'wayno'" and i flipped out and started clutching his sleeve and bouncing up and down saying "ohmygod! wayno! he's from pittsburgh! he did the cover for some karl hendricks trio records and peas kor records and and and" and kept babbleing and hoping up and down and kc laughed at me.
turns out he was down for thanksgiving to visit.
what a delightfully weird small world this is sometimes.
so maybe i'll meet him the next time he's down. that would be cool. i bet we know some of the same people. at least karl and probably john d.
today i played driving miss daisy and picked up some yarn.
tomorrow i have to paint over graffitti on the fort reno stage. i might go to meeting and then just keep going up the red line to tennleytown.
i wish the fucking asshole kids who were graffing the stage would knock it the fuck off. i have neither the time nor the patience for this shit.
