weiner warmers! get 'em while you're cold!

i have such a sexy weekend lined up.
it begins tonight with some much ignored laundry. and probably some knitting. and if i'm feeling really wild, i'll read 'fortress of solitude' and 'the children's hospital' alternately.
then, tomorrow, i go to northern virginia where there are 4 cars for every person. seriously. i don't know how they do it. cars drive themselves just to fuck up the traffic. while in NOVA, i'll be working in a scene shop with a bunch of good ol' boys (yet only 3 miles from DC's border) paintin' and hopefully, ignorin'.
then, if i can scrub the paint out from under my nails, i'll navigate colleen through the wilds of college park maryland to the super-tidy-MDF-board mecca of ikea. i'm not going to lie, colleen, i love you girl, but i'm a little afraid to ride with you; having never seen you drive in the 7 years i've known you. but it's saturday night and who would be shopping at ikea on a saturday night? i bet it's not going to be pretty.
then sunday, of course, is the superbowl.
which means cupcakes and knitting.
and maybe a beverage at a bar or two. but mostly cupcakes and knitting. which, i have to say, i have the ventricle almost done (the pink part) i've also been working in the aorta (the long red piece) but you knit it in the round, and it looks (right now) like a giant knit condom. yesterday i had it at work and G asked what i was making and i said "weiner warmers" without blinking an eye.
