summer can't get here fast enough

i have so many things pulling me in different directions right now and it's frustrating because they're all screaming for attention.
i have a show about to go into tech and this show has really been careening out of control since day one. artomatic is up and running and this year people are into my stuff and actually buying things and since it's only every two years, i feel like i need to try and be present for that as much as i can and that includes doing stuff like meeting the other artists at stuff like the meet-up thing on wednesday. and then there's a show for the fringe festival i agreed to do, and i'm not sorry i agreed to it, because it seems really interesting, but that needs to be hashed out this week. i think the first rehearsal is the 21st and i really don't want to have to be there for that...but i do need to have some kind of sketch put together by then. and then there's my garden. i have a bunch of seedlings that i need to put in the fucking ground. right now they're tipped over in their little plastic containers.
and my bathtub is clogged. and my bedroom is a carpet of clothing and and and and....
i know in about two weeks, everything but hamlet will quiet down but that doesn't make it any easier that i keep doing favors for people and short changing my own time.
i can't wait for summer to get here. on sunday as i watched planes take off and land i kept thinking about chicago.
