chicago here i come!

i'm taking the day off tomorrow because i f-ing need it and want it.
i am getting a haircut too. because of need and want.

i'm not sure what to get or where to go. people keep suggesting one place. it's the place all the hipsters go. and it's the home of the $60 haircut. which considering how infrequently i go, it would probably be a wash. but i have something against the hipsters that frequent there. even if some are my friends.
i don't know. maybe i should go and see how it is. experience a 60 dollar hair cut.
no. maybe next time. i will settle on another trendy-ish place for half that and in a neigborhood i need to be tomorrow anyhow.
besides, i've booked my plane ticket and pitchfork ticket (i dragged my heels too long and am now missing the friday night slint/sonic youth thing...i have some chicago friends i can put a feeler out and see if anyone has an extra friday they wanna sell)

i'm excited to be doing this grownup style. although i am going to crash at mikes for one evening.
and then ohio house style for the rest of the time!
yay.
