good night sweetheart, well it's time to go

good night fort reno. see you next year. maybe.
sorry none of my friends came out. to even one show.

it's funny, but i've been asked many many times today if i was sad or relieved this is ending. and truthfully, i'm probably happier that it's done than i've ever been. except for maybe last year.
with two exceptions (one major, one minor) this has been a really low-key summer. perhaps the most low key i've seen. which is nice.
i just want to make sure that fort reno is financially stable and i can hand everything off to amanda, dust off my hands and say "it's been fun".
my friend aaron who was the asst. editor for Alt Press magazine quit for awhile and said "i just want to be a fan again" and i totally get it. then he went back to it for a bunch of years, and now he's out of it again. now he's in texas being an awesome dad with awesome tina and their three awesome sons.
i just had a happy flashback memory of tina dancing in the radio booth to daniel johnston for one of our shows. oh those were good times.

wow my feet smell.
i think there's something weird with my sneakers.

oh! Duncan and tracey came to the fort tonight. so i can't say i had no visitors. duncan is the 6 year old monster fiend.

i'm cultivating a lovely pimple to the right of my chin. i'm a vision.
