mah purple boots

today is hello kitty's birthday. i'm not lying- ask sanrio.

more importantly, it's the end of halloween which is good because this was the most apathetic halloween in the history of beth b.
i didn't decorate, carve any gourds, dress up, go to any parties...nuthin'.
the only thing i did was help a coworker figure out a costume...i suggested an octopus/ursula type thing and i made her some (really budget) tentacles yesterday with bubblewrap and purple fleece. she came to me monday and asked about costume ideas so i gave her my idea and she was asking what kind of shoes and stuff to wear and i said "whatever you want"...then the next day she told me she was driving home thinking about going out "to buy some purple shoes, and i thought, THANK YOU JESUS, mah purple boots".
I think it's maybe a little excessive to thank jesus for giving you the foresight to buy purple suede boots incase some crazy white girl comes into your life telling you to dress up like an octopus, but whatever.

the only other dressing up occured tuesday when i came home to find sadie (literally) half in a bag. she had gotten into someone's carry-out trash and had her head through one of the bags handles and the bag was partially ripped open and still had the styrofoam container in it.
i came home to captain kitty carry-out.
