i went to the gym yesterday after work and set the machine for 45 minutes. mtv was airring top model season 2 which remains my favorite because...i'm a dork, ok? it was just good... the dancing in the ill-conceived tyra video, tyra being dressed by that swful 'hard tail' clothing line at all the judging panels, the "pack your bags y'all, you're going to milan" rap....oh, the memories.
so i end up putting in another 15 minutes because i wanted to see the final beauty shoot where yoanna cuts her hair and everyone makes too big a deal of it and then shandi gets cut and i'm waiting for them to drop the boot on shandi and i see this guy walk by and i think 'oh, he looks like travis from the back' and he turned around, either cause he recongnized me as well or perhaps because i was wearing a beat happening tshirt with the K records logo on the back and he was surprised to see someone wearing a K records shirt in a bee-sults gym.
but, um. yeah. definitely travis. in all my gross i've-been-on-this-thing-for-an-hour-now glory watching the worst (and most addictive) tv show in history.
i am so smoooove.
tonight the thermals are in town. i haven't seen them play since 2003 0r 4 when i put on a show at the warehouse and they played and, like, 30 people maybe came.
