totally worth it
tonight is some....something about the Crystal city plane to-do. I'm a little confused because it's maybe a party? maybe a chance for the artists to meet the sponsors? Maybe when the artists get the first half of the honorarium from the sponsors? The letter i got from the CC folks made it sound like all the payment and what-all resides squarely with the sponsor which is maybe a little fucked up since i didn't sign a contract with the sponsor...i signed it with the CC folk. but there's no use in worrying about something before there's even really cause to worry about it.
it was raining this morning so i drove- i had intended on metroing there and back, but i also didn't realize that it begins at 5- i thought it was 7, but it ends at 7. this week is going to be a mess. there's so much i need to do, and then a few things that i want to do- like go see this french movie at E st. since it's only here for a week. i might try to do that tomorrow.
i got home from work last night fully intending to take care of the laundry situation which has reached critical mass in my bedroom. but i didn't. i was so wiped out from work yesterday and my bed has sheets with a super high threadcount so i stretched out and slid around and fell asleep.
but seriously, super high threadcount sheets? totally worth it.
