just shut up already!
What do you do when people probably mean well, but they're kind of insulting?
there's a woman here at work (who, first off, really likes to chat while she's peeing. sorry for the TMI, but it's the truth. I'm not a pee-chatter.)
Anyway, today she offers me the shirt she's wearing and 1) she's a bit taller than i am 2) the shirt was...uh...not me. We'll say that. If you were a 50 y.o. african american woman, yes. But not me.
So i have to try to deflect this weird offer and tell her that i think it would be long on me and she says 'oh, well, i thought your hips would push it up'. I'm kinda tired of her. I told D about it and D (who is *tiiiiny*) says that Chatty told her once that she looked pregnant. Chatty is really weird and intrusive in regards to "did you go to the gym last night? how many times a week do you go? did i tell you my son works at a health club and i'm going there?'.
D says she's crazy and to ignore her because (she says) i'm much smaller than chatty. which made me feel good
it's still weird. it's like, this isn't a competition lady. christ.
especially today when i'm wearing this 
well, as cute as i can feel.
definitely going to the gym tonight. i didn't go sunday or yesterday.
