smitten

I had an install today and the company handling the actuall install-y part (bless them) sends cutie-pie boys but today they may have outdone themselves.

I just googled him, he plays in a meh band. figures. Doesn't matter, i'm still smitten.

speaking of meh bands....my favorite part of summer was uncerimoniously closed! f0rt ren0 had some soil samples tested and 3x the allowable amount of arsenic was found. they've closed all 32 acres of the park.

i'm not worried, amanda is in charge and she's smart and awesome and level headed. it doesn't make it suck any less 'tho.
and i'm less worried about myself being there for 8 hours a week, 9 weeks a year for the last 8 years than i am about someone trying to be an asshat and sue f0rt reno.
it'll all work out. i know it will.

it'll just be less convienient for margaritas afterwards. which reminds me, i need to schedule that with some folks.

this weekend is my favorite yearly used book sale (it's also where i found my totally dope coffee table for $20 like, 4 years ago) and probably open studios for the NoMA artists....which is such a far-flung random collection of folks. but it's generally good.
