burgers and bats

Between tim russert's passing and hormones, I have been incredibly weepy about not being able to see my father today.
See? There I go now...getting all teary.
I talked to him on the phone this morning and he said at least one brother was going to be there for dinner tonight and he's going to grill burgers.
Maybe that's what I'll do for dinner tonight. I'm not doing anything other than sewing together bodies of owls and acorns. And watching America's best dance crew reruns.
I don't have anything to make burgers with which is a problem, I don't want to leave the house...
Yeah....I'm going to go to the new harris teeter and get stuff to make burgers and brew up some iced tea and watch the bats dive for bugs at dusk.
