lose what you have

a cupcake place opened in dupont today. i have to say, it's ok...it's not stupendous. they're kinda melty like, 5 minutes out the door which was annoying.
today is the last day off...even tho i think i only used 8 of my 10 vacation days. i just don't have time. plus, i need to take off whatever day is the friday of arts on foot and i want to take the friday and monday before and after crafty bastards off- i was so insanely tired last year, which will be different this year, but i still enjoy not going in to work.
i went through a closet and a lot of fabric to see what i have that i can use and what I have that i won't use and found a box i've never unpacked and found an old beloved tshirt from Septophilia mail order ladies. i thought that shirt was long gone! hahah! my tip to you, pack something very dear to you far far away so you can rejoice when you find it 5 years later.
