this isn't a problem

back in DC- i thought i'd be back yesterday but i wanted to see some other people and hang out with my brother more which was the right decision.

so, back in DC, able to connect to the internet, i'm still unable to work the new toy. It turns out i'm not even able to download the new itunes program because my base opperating system is 10.3.9 and to upgrade, i'd have to purchase the 'tiger' operating system but hey, guess what? that's not even available anymore, so says the nice guy at the apple help line who i asked mid-sentence "are you a person or are you a computer?" because he sounded super mechanical but he laughed so he's either a computer with a good sense of humor or a real live boy. either way he was very helpful.
So since Tiger no longer available, i would have to purchase leopard but we weren't sure if my computer would even be able to handle it. and i admitted i was hoping to purchase a new computer soon which he admitted that "that would probably solve your problems". Which- yeah. who doesn't want a $1700 solution.I have a little less than half of that available from the craft show season extravaganza. The problem is i. want. NOW! but I should prudently wait a pay period or two (really, two, three even maybe) to cull the cash together to go get a new laptop. or do i get an imac and still use this laptop? i should be able to make these decisions on my own but i want a sounding board. last time when i bought this laptop i probably asked bob a thousand and seven questions.
i think i'm going to go get lunch at eastern market instead.
