i can't read the signs

I don't understand what it is about H st. that makes me unable to read signs. I went to the H st. playhouse for a meeting and came out to find a $50 parking ticket on my car.
the last time I parked on H st (well...perhaps not the last time...maybe we'll say the last major parking ticket I received was on H st. for parking in a bus zone.
I'm not going to get mad about it. both times I was being an asshole and clearly did not check well enough. I just spotted an empty space between two cars (also ticketed) in a loading zone in front of a business.
at least i'm going to be paid pretty well for this show.
