I sure do love vacations

I've had off this week and it's been luxurious. Ikea trips and lunches and friends and coffee. It's enough to spoil a girl.
Today I'm going to price some stereo equipment, and lunch and knit and speculate & plan with the awesome mean louise who is neither mean nor a louise. I should ask her about that. Actually, there has been a lot of mean louise on this vacation. A trip to ikea, today and then tomorrow a whole gang of us are going to see the lion cubs. the weather looks perfect for it.
I'm reinstating the post-new years brunch & boardgame bonanza. unclear how i will pull it off in this apartment, but i have the greatest of friends who stack easily so i know it will be ok.
there's also going to be a trip to the thrift store to purge a box of stuff (with every box of stuffing I buy, i fill the empty box with stuff I no longer use to take to the thrift store. mostly it's a good system.
mentally composing my mew years wish for all of you, so check back tomorrow.
