speaking of remembering

i'm going to try to resolve myself to not be stupid.

which is almost impossible. but a noble effort, right?
4 days of work and then a week of vacation. where I'm going to gawk at Amish people. Or as my grandmother would say "the AIM-ish". She mispronunced many words- jordache (jord-ACK), jedi (jetty) pasta (pass-ta) and Yoplait (yo plate) but nothing will ever be funnier to me than when she and my mother drove me to Williamsburg in 96 to work for VSF and we stopped at a Denny's and she asked what a 'fuhg-eye-tuh" (fajita) and ques-uh-dillas were.
Oh gramma. Maybe i'll pack a mayonaise jar full of wine and wrap everything in individual plastic bags in your honor.
speaking of remembering, today marks one year without Sadie La Rue.
I miss them both terribly.
