good job us?

4 years ago i was watching the results roll in at a friends house, and drove my car home down north capitol while patriotic songs played on the radio and my heart swelled with pride and i was never so happy to be looking directly at the capitol building in my life.
Last night i was convinced we would lose. i worked on an on-line application for a new job and made a few cookies and then fell asleep on the couch. i woke up to mitt's concession speech which was hilarious because of what was going on in my dream where that was happening as i was coming out of sleep-terror dream. But it appeared real. We won. And we won in states where it was not expected. There's one more race- a hyperlocal neighborhood race- where i'm waiting to hear the results but really the only thing that didn't win that i was hoping for was prop37 in california.
So....good job us?
I have a few friends who really worked hard to canvas the ground in virginia and i am proud of them.
