bring on the new!

So, last year at this time, I wished this for everyone:
i hope you find enveloping hugs, and kisses that make you blush and the greatest pair. of. shoes. ever.
may you make inspired choices, all of your deadlines, and your favorite people laugh.
here's to 2007
I have to say, 2007, you did not disappoint. It had, hugs, blush-worthy smooching (a girl doesn't tell *everything*) and the cutest pair of shoes ever. really, i need to post a photo of them.
It also had a big change in jobs, a moderate change in life style....so how will 2008 top it?

For you folks who read this- I say, let's keep the hugs and the blushing and the smooching. And maybe throw in taking steps toward making your dreams and happiness a reality. I know that sounds kinda queer, but think about what it's going to take to make you get yourself to another level. Whether it's setting up your home-office-workspace so you're not sewing on the dining room table (hi) or actually peddling your services/wares/pies/homemade envelopes to the right people who will take notice.
And here's to a year filled with new friends, new experiences, new challenges, new fountains of untapped strengths and talents you never knew you had in you.

They're letting us out 4 hours early today! so awesome...I wanted to run by pulp and pick up a new journal...yes, i actually write more than on this thing.
