project runways

After watching a rerun of Project Runway yesterday, I am left with two burning questions that no one (no one!) is answering....
1) What was up with Heidi K dressed as the sexy referee when she came out for the model switcharoo part? I thought it was a clue to their challenge that maybe was 'design a new slutty-halloween costume that stores can sell in a bag for 16.99'.
2) Is Suede going to unveil a new, long-deceased family member with each challenge that will offer some sort of comfort/inspiration? Do you want to be taking inspiration from someone who last walked the earth while he was in college and if he's 39 now, that'll put him in college 87-91 ish....does anyone really need rugby shirts and faded denim back? nope....
