thankful

i feel really happy right now for a really perfect collection of reasons and people and it's moments like this when the weather is perfect and the air is perfumed with honeysuckle and the skies are clear and the views are those that anyone can see by looking at the money in their wallets that this is no where I'd rather be.
Even 'tho out the window in the distance of where I've been working for the last few days i can see an airport that the mere sight or mention of triggers the best excitable, quivery feelings of flying and travel.
but right now I'd like to keep this memory and this feeling, this combination of temperature and fresh air and a collection of friends from different periods of my decade + here in the city all exchanging stories about their lives.
today and tonight was pretty great.
and i am thankful.
