bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- erin- it was blah.... DC is hot. we have lots of tulips. depending on the kindness of acquaintances is for the birds....i'm having doubts about being able to pull off fort reno. capital mayhem boy was nice...so is the girl he's dating. we beat his team in quizzo (first game) and then tied with his team in game 2 but lost in the tie breaker. they did have, like, 9 people tho....but we have alicia, who is the almight knowledgable one. you wanna know which king did what, or discern between faulkner novels? she's your girl. you wanna know the name of the restaurant that laverne and shirley opened up with lenny and squiggy?well...then you call me. i'm driving up to the parents today, have much CD's with me, and REM's life rich pagent, on cassette. oh, REM, why did you have to start taking yourself so super-seriously. yesterday, we had this beeeeYOOOOOOOteful storm. mad lightning and thunder. a couple of times it scared the pants off of me and i grabbed a coworker in complete reflex. seriously, i felt like i was five, clutching onto someone's arm and hiding behind them. on wednesday, we had the second installment of 'crochet club' or 'knit club' or whatever you want to call it....it's gonna be the DC chapter comprable to KCMO's 'knit 'n get lit' (JJ-you'll be duly noted at each meeting!) this week we watched fight club (for obvious reasons) man, did they ever miss the boat on marketing that. if you haven't seen fight club because you thought it was about brad pitt fighting...it's not...at all. you should see it. it's really good. also- this is a special note to all of the protesters this weekend. good luck, god bless....please be gentle to my city and my neighborhood. did anyone else see the fake plane on fire at the steps of the Capitol building yesterday? i guess it was some training exercise, but holy crap- a big fire coming from the capitol building is the last thing i wanna see. i'm thinking of starting up a relation ship with my shift key. What do you think? Should I begin to use correct punctuation?
