good things good things.

i don't feel like doing any work. bleh. but i think the hippie (who turns everything into some kind of mystery case) has to go fabric shopping with him, as the swatches he chose match the costumes. exactly. the dutchess' dress is a blue and gold damask, and what he chose for the bed spread is also a blue and gold damask. which then makes for a floating actress head.
i actually found some chairs that are available from the damn furniture frame company. i almost fell back in my chair. i'm so use to hearing "oh, we discontinued that 2 months ago and we don't have any more in the warehouse".
it's seriously a big shock for someone to tell me for once "yes, we have those, no shipping is not a big deal".
of course now i'm frantically knocking on wood.
it is so good to see b. christine mcd. last night we ordered chinese food, watched the triplets of belleville and drooled over sacha cohen and his ali g. first season dvd. goddamn he's brilliant. when i'm in england i'm going to have to find the english version and bring it back. ryan will think i'm a hero.
ryan will not think i'm a hero when he sees the house. beauty pill's last show of this tour is at the khyber in philly tonight. the house is still a mess. but part of it is his doing too.
but the best thing? chris is on a short list of teaching applicants for georgetown's new theatre program. oh god it would be glorious to have her in town. it would also be good for her, and her persuit of a normal life, where she could have a house and maybe a kid. and she likes my neighborhood.
i can't send enough good thoughts that way. that would seriously rule.
right now i want to listen to a lot of sebadoh.
