bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my adventures with A. pt. 1 so, i had this roommate in college...let's call her...hm. A. so A. and i were roommates for 1.5 years. the .5 because we were both dealt sucky roommates as freshman and somehow convinced carrie (hers) and angie (mine) that they really really wanted to live together so off went carrie and angie and A. and i were allowed to live our 'let's write on the walls and listen to the smiths all the time' lifestyles in peace. i actually really treasure a lot of memories with A. from that first year. ' except..... make that, Except..... A. had this little lying thing she did which i didn't know about until our sophomore year. then a lot of her friends from highschool were on campus (she was what you might call a "townie") and she was pretty different towards me and really, towards a lot of things that year... but she also would tell me stuff like "i saw J. and he invited me to this big party at this place and my mom saw him and she started asking all these questions about him'...and as it so happened J. called me that summer (because, i, the eternal friend, somehow ended up befriending all these guys that i was in crush-land with, yet A. got to bed. i stopped taking boys home after a while, because i didn't want to say "yes, and this is my roommate a. get to know her, you two will be bonking in a matter of weeks...") and we were talking and i asked him what he was doing on campus and he was totally confused and said he hadn't been there since he left after finals and in fact, that conversation with A. never happened. that was the first one i caught her on...if you don't count the clothing thing. i have to go to work, so more on the clothing thing tomorrow.... 6:22 p.m. - 2003-03-16 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
