bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- his name is teddy, but you can call him ted i have the book HTML for dummies. wow. is that shit boring. went to ted leo on thursday, as fort reno was a washout. i did have a lovely dinner with miss chris at guapos. i was full for about 18 hours after that. no lie. but let's get back to the ted. or teddy. he actually sent me an email signed "teddy". and i will call him teddy in front of people, but never to his face. good lord, that man can play him some guitar. and radio4 opened for him and the kids were almost dancing. i was. and some kids were rattling bones around. i wonder how many knew them from the car commercial. because the last time i saw our radio4 heros at the black cat it was pretty sparsely attended and i remember thinking "uh oh....back to the back stage* for you!" the show was sold out by the time i got there but amanda put me on the list (YAY AMANDA) and a +1, which i didn't know about so i didn't have anyone with me. if i had been thinking i should have reached back and plucked the cutest boy and said "i'll get you in" and bat my eyelashes but radio 4 was already on stage and i was itching to dance. as opposed to the itching i'm doing right now for unknown reasons. seriously, i'm very itchy. i'm also ( to make a seriously wild segue) really disappointed in amazon.com twice now i've ordered things and the delievery has been WAAAAAAAAY post-poned. i ordered an aussi pop comp in like, early june and NOW it won't be delivered until mid-late august. the same with a french pop comp. hmmmm. amazon foreign relations not so hot maybe.....
