actual ass hat

glenn kotche was amazing. even better than pitchfork.
although this time the overly excitable crew was to my right. dancing as you might to...say....squarepusher. not a solo drummer.
i didn't stay much for lambchop because i was tired...and i didn't see anyone i knew. which usually isn't a big deal. no one i know likes the same kind of music i do so i go to shows by myself all the time. and now that i'm not "fort reno girl" i don't get accosted as much.
there was, however, an actual ass hat in attendance.
i couldn't tell if the guy was wearing a vase on his head, or what. i tried not to stare, but i'm pretty sure it was a felted hat, that looked like a horn bell (not unlike the honkers from sesame street) but it was just one big one that came up about 11" off his head, and then there were little felted slivers that stuck up all over his head.
it was seriously the dumbest thing i've ever seen.
