more letting cats out of bags. and i want a dog.
i just got home from meeting with the costume designer for Oz. you should be reading that like the HBO logo. he and his husband are pretty cute. and they grew their own tomatos and grilled some sausage that was so f-ing good, i had two. it's nice having someone cook for you. also, they have what might be the cutest greatest dog in the world- hooch. he's an american bull dog. with ryan moving to kalamazoo (the cat's out of the bag on that one too, so i guess i can write about it here....so whomever reads this in KZMI, (and i know someone there reads this 'cause the staty thing tells me so) congrats. someone's about to get a fantastic roommate. Holly C- if you're the one in kalamazoo reading this, someone on my street has "warm leatherette" written across the back windshield of their car. i giggle every time i see it because i think of you and voz and the scotts. anyway, with ryan leaving, if the crupis let me stay and i can find a new roommate, i could possibly think about getting a dog. which would be good. it should also be noted, it took me 4 attemps to write dog instead of god. my brain is fucked up. but back to dogs- it would be nice to have a dog, but i should figure out my housing situation...and also figure out if that would make sadie pee all over my stuff. since she's had me to herself for so long. and lately she's been part lovebug/part needy cat. such as when i'm typing this, she'll try to crawl up onto my lap so i'll hold her and she'll cling to me like a koala bear. and really, right now i have an ideal job for a dog since i could take it into work, if i got the job with the DCCCCCAHHHHHH, i wouldn't be able to. but sometimes, i'm not gonna lie, sometimes it's a little scary being by myself in anacostia. no rejection letter from the dccahhhhhhh yet. which might be good, right? i mean, if they knew already that it was thanks but no thanks, i would have heard by now, right? humour me and just say right. i hope my vcr taped the gilmore girls properly...it's been acting wonky lately...it is officially 10 years old this fall. i love that thing. i'm going to be really sad when it bites the big one. it's not rewinding well.
