i'm in love with rock and roll...

portastatic is at the black cat on the backstage (unfair!) but i'm going to try to go and also get my mitts on a hold steady ticket.
i should be staying home and cleaning and maybe going over to C&A's for some project runway, but honestly, i'm kinda not all that into any of the designers this year.
and it's been years since i've seen mac m. in any lineup and from what i've heard, the new portastatic record is really great.
i'm glad i'm back to my old multiple-shows in a week habit. although my wallet is giving me the middle finger.
also also, i should note i had a great day with chester looking for stuff for the show. and in some weird twist of fate, the antique emporium in frederick coughed up some things that i've literally been pulling my hair out trying to find.
so, chalk one up for you frederick maryland. even if edward and edward apparently went tits up.
i loved that store. those of you who have seen my sofa in the living room- that's where it came from.
i'm just saying...it's a swank-a-dank 1930's mohair sofa. and a matching club chair that i really need to get out of the prop shop.
