bethb's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- maper force two weeks ago, i was standing in line at CVS thinking "man, i could work at CVS and in 3 weeks, i'd be a manager" which started me thinking "wow, i really hate my job" which i do. as it so happens, the saper pource (not it's real name, but if you can't figure it out, you probably don't have one in your hood) is hiring. so i sent my resume in yesterday and got a call today for an interview. i'm having really conflicting feeling about this. one is : my job sucks. i'm frequently having to solve problems like Ophelia's glass (they want a glass that breaks, but not too much...3 or 4 managable pieces) and when it breaks, it should sound like glass...but break predicibly, and also, it needs to hold liquid and be food safe because ophelia needs to drink out of it. and then there's the camera.... i found two great cameras (one by breaking my 'don't use craigslist for anything' rule). they were great. and totally appropriate. but then the dick-rector had his picture snapped by a photog who happens to be totally adorable, and oh, look. now i need to find an 8 THOUSAND dollar camera set up by tuesday. for less than 300 if possible. oh, and i got the note around 8 pm wed. night making thursday morning the earliest i could really work on the problem. yeah. 10:13 p.m. - 2007-05-24 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
